BRIDGE RATINGS BECOMES PRIVATE LABEL SERVICE
(Glendale, California) Dave Van Dyke, President & CEO for media industry analyst and research company, Bridge Ratings, announced today that the company has entered into a multi-year agreement to provide Private Label research for an undisclosed media company in the broadcast industry.
“Over the last five years, Bridge Ratings has established itself as the premier radio and media industry analyst, “explained Van Dyke. “The company has had the privilege to conduct projects for many different industries and firms eager to have comprehensive data regarding consumer use of audio media. Our data has been used to guide companies in their development and marketing of products and services.”
Now, Bridge Ratings has entered into an agreement with a major multi-media broadcast company seeking their own in-house analysis and research arm. Bridge Ratings will now exclusively provide its wide range of research services to this one client.”
Bridge Ratings was established in 2002 and gained high visibility in 2003 with its controversial study on the impact of high levels of advertising on radio listening. Later, the company accurately projected the impact of satellite radio on the consumer market.
“I find it refreshing that in the midst of the paradigm shift that is occurring in the consumption of all media, that any company is willing to bring in-house a highly technical and focused company like Bridge Ratings to aid in their navigation of the future, “Van Dyke continues, “It seems to be a symptom of the times we live in that many media companies either don’t have the resources or the interest in on-going course correction through sophisticated research methods. I’m encouraged by the prospects this marriage brings as the consumer landscape undergoes significant adjustments.”
For the time being, Bridge Ratings will not provide industry-focused research studies on a regular basis as it has in the past. As part of the terms of this partnership, studies of significant import will be released to the public on occasion.
Visitors to the Bridge Ratings website will continue to be able to access past Bridge studies via the search box on the company's home page.
